The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has urged Nigerians to complement their excitement and renewed hope for 2026 with a firm commitment to zero tolerance for corruption.
Olukoyede made the call in Abuja on Wednesday in his New Year message to the nation.
He said while the euphoria of the New Year is heartwarming, it must also inspire Nigerians to embrace accountability and responsible conduct for the country to attain greatness.

“As we welcome the New Year with excitement and renewed hopes, let us renew our commitment and channel our energy to the paths of accountability and zero tolerance for corruption,” he said.
The EFCC boss expressed optimism that Nigeria would overcome poverty and deprivation, adding that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu is geared towards rebuilding the country.
“We can make Nigeria greater. This is the pivot of the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President. Nigeria will rise again,” Olukoyede stated.
He wished Nigerians a happy and fulfilling 2026.
