The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 40 internet fraudsters in Tamah, Nasarawa State.
A statement released on Thursday, May 1, 2025, by Dele Oyewale, Head of Media and Publicity for the EFCC, said the suspects were arrested on Wednesday, April 29, by operatives from the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the commission.
The statement revealed that the operation was carried out following actionable intelligence that linked the suspects to various fraudulent online activities.

EFCC operatives recovered five laptops and 34 mobile phones believed to be tools used in the alleged crimes from the suspects.
The EFCC stated that the suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
