Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested fifteen suspected internet fraudsters.
This was confirmed by a post on the official X page of the EFCC on November 26, 2024.

According to the post “The suspects were arrested at Abu King Shuluwe Street Akpehe, Makurdi metropolis based on actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet fraud”.

“Items recovered from them include: two cars, five laptop computers, 17 mobile phones among others”.
The suspects will be charged in court as soon as their investigations are completed.
