The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 59 internet fraud suspects in Abuja.
According to a statement released by the EFCC on Monday, by Dele Oyewale, Head, Media & Publicity, the suspects were apprehended at Abacha Road in the Mararaba area of Nasarawa State following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in fraudulent online activities.

During the operation, EFCC operatives recovered 73 mobile phones of different brands from the suspects.
The anti-graft agency confirmed that investigations are ongoing and that the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of the process.
