Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Kaduna Zonal Directorate, have arrested 11 suspected internet fraudsters in Niger State.
The suspects were apprehended on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at White Hotel in Chanchangi Local Government Area, following intelligence reports on their alleged involvement in fraudulent online activities.

According to a statement released by the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, items recovered from the suspects, include two vehicles and 13 mobile phones of various brands.
“The commission’s operatives carried out the arrest professionally, with no motive or tinge of abduction,” the statement read.
The anti-graft agency confirmed that the suspects would be charged to court, upon the conclusion of investigations.
