The Edo State House of Assembly has, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, suspended all Chairmen and Vice Chairmen across the 18 Local Government Councils in the state following allegations of fund misappropriation.

To ensure continued governance at the local level, the legislative heads of each council have been directed to take over administrative responsibilities for the next two months.
