“We targeted this holiday period for the programme because of the age limit we have for it and knowing that most of our young ones who have passion in playing football should be on holiday now so that we can bring together those who have the passion and talent to come and exhibit it.
“The Alliance Sports Academy has been in operation for five years now. Before now, we have participated in some competitions that the Edo FA organised. Our team has been outstanding in all these tournaments.”
Omokaro Bright, head coach of the senior team of the academy posited: “I am a new coach in the academy and since I joined the team we have played four matches winning two, drawing one and losing one.
“It has been a good experience as the boys are responding to training and working well with me. In another five years I believe the Alliance Sports Academy would have gone far.”
