Hon. Yakubu O. Musa, the Chief of Staff (COS), Edo State on Tuesday embarked on a familiarisation tour of key departments within the Edo State Government House, as a follow-up to an earlier interactive meeting with staff members held in his office last Friday, February 6, 2026.
The tour, which comes days after the familiarisation meeting, was aimed at deepening engagement with departments under the Governor’s Office and strengthening coordination for improved service delivery.
Speaking during the tour, the COS said the exercise was necessary to consolidate discussions from last Friday’s meeting and foster closer working relationships with staff.
He noted that the visit was a deliberate and strategic step to gain firsthand understanding of the various departments under the Governor’s Office, emphasizing that effective governance requires close collaboration, synergy, and shared purpose. According to him, this familiarisation is essential as the administration works collectively to strengthen institutional efficiency, enhance service delivery, and drive the Governor’s vision of a responsive, efficient, and people-centred government for Edo State.
