The Ohaozara Local government Chairman of Ebonyi state, Mr Chinonso Ajah, has lauded the state governor, Rt Hon Francis Nwifuru, for organising a grand reception for Senator David Umahi.
The reception was organised to mark the 60th birthday of Umahi, who is the Deputy Majority Leader of the Senate and the immediate past governor of the state.
Ajah noted that the reception for Umahi who is now a ministerial nominee was an indication that he is truly loved by the state.
The LGA Boss who disclosed this to newsmen in Abakaliki, the state capital assured his continues support to the administration of Governor Nwifuru.
He said that as a youth, Nwifuru is teaching the young generation how to pay respect to those that do good to them.

He however, commended the Choice of the Senator as a Minister of the Federal Republic and expressed the hope that the former governor would replicate what he did in Ebonyi at the federal level, describing him as an experienced and outstanding leader.
In a similar development, Ajah also commended Nwifuru for his decision to construct a road that leads to the residence of late Senator Anyim Ude, one of the founding fathers of the state and veteran Journalist.
The governor also announced the donation of N15 million cash to support the building of the church as part of honour to the late Senator.
Speaking at the burial ceremony, the Ohaozara local government Chairman, Hon Chinonso Ajah, who described Nwifuru’s gestures as commendable, said he has given the late Ude’s family a sense of belonging.
He stated that since he assumed the leadership of Ebonyi State, Nwifuru has touched lives and continues to do so and further described the governor’l mandate as a divine who has the people at heart at all times.
