Argentine striker Paulo Dybala is close to joining Inter Milan after Juventus refused to renew his contract to see the player continue with the Old Lady in next season’s campaign as his agent meets Inter to finalise deal.
Juventus had previously in 2021 offered to extend the contract of the Argentine striker with a €10million-ayear deal but later backed out of the contract talks after they signed Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina in January.
However, Inter have tendered a contract worth €6million-a-year deal with €1million add-ons to the player but his agent Jorge Autun has insisted the value of the contract be reviewed upwards. Although, Dybala has received interest from several English Premier League clubs, the Argentine striker chose Inter long ago but would welcome interest from Spain.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a meeting between Inter Milan and Jorge Antun will hold early in the week, either Monday or Tuesday, to finalise the latter part of the deal which would see Dybala, who is on holiday in Miami, sign when he returns. Italian media reported that the striker contract talk with Juventus was supposed to be held in March this year but suffered a setback as Bianconeri never brought up the issue since Vlahovic’s switch.
The Trumpet reports that Dybala joined Juventus in 2015 in a five-year deal worth €32million and €8million add-ons from the Italian side Palermo and has been an ace striker in the attacking lineup for the Bianconeri where he amassed 115 goals in 293 appearances coupled with 48 assists.
