The indigenes of Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State have congratulated Governor Charles Soludo on his re-election victory at the just-concluded governorship election held on November 8, 2025.
This is contained in a statement issued and signed by the Deputy Chairman, Dunukofia Traditional Rulers Council, Emeka Ilouno, on behalf of the Dunukofia Traditional Rulers Council on Tuesday.
Ilouno said that Gov. Soludo’s overwhelming mandate at the polls remained a powerful testament to the trust, admiration, and appreciation the good people of Anambra State have for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to building a liveable and prosperous destination state.
The royal father reminded Gov. Soludo of the major developmental projects he graciously promised the council area, particularly the export emporium in Ukpo/Ukwulu communities axis, and the industrial park in Ifitedunu community.
“We call for the construction of a major interconnecting road linking Ukpo (in Dunukofia Local Government Area, Abba in Njikoka Local Government Area, Ifitedunu, Umudioka, Ogbunike in Oyi Local Government Area, and Ogidi in Idemili North Local Government Area.

“You should also remember the conversion of the well-equipped Advanced Skills Acquisition Centre, Ifitedunu, into a fully functional technical/trade institution. We trust in your commitment to these transformative initiatives,” he said.
Ilouno prayed God to continue to endow the governor with exceptional wisdom, courage, and strength as he drives forward his bold vision of transforming Anambra into the Dubai–Taiwan of Africa.
“We look forward, with great optimism, to the remarkable progress and renewed prosperity your second tenure will bring to our beloved state.
“The people of Dunukofia have spoken clearly and decisively with their votes. We are proud to stand firmly with you as you continue the good work,” he added.
