The Uro-Irri country home of Hon. Itiako Ikpokpo, Ksm, Wednesday 21st played host to eminent Deltans, leaders, party stalwarts and members of the PDP across the twenty-five local governments of Delta State for the official inauguration of the National Executive Committee, NEC, Board of Trustees and Local Governments Coordinators of renowned and formidable PDP group, the Delta Unity Group. DUG.

DUG Protem Chairman and former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Peter Onwusanya alongside other acting members of the NEC including Comr. Mike Akpobire, acting Secretary, were at the brief and colourful ceremony inaugurated as substantive Executive of the group.

Hon. Evance Ivwurie, Deputy Chairman; Rt Hon Daniel Reyeineju, Vice Chairman, Delta South; Rt Hon Monday Igbuya, Vice Chairman, Delta Central; and Rt Hon Olisa Imegwu, Vice Chairman, Delta North are also part of the NEC.

Others are Hon Stanley Odali, National Assistant Secretary, Hon Fred Ofume, Treasurer; Barrister Robinson Ariyo, Legal Adviser; Sunny Areh, Publicity Secretary, Hon Godwin Ejinyere, Organising Secretary; Olorogun Esere Ejifoma, Auditor; Comr. Isaiah Ingo, Youth leader and Chief Florence Ayomanor, Woman Leader.

Rt Hon. Basil Ganagana, Dr Karo Ilolo, Andy Asawota, Esq, Odio Berkeley Asiafa, Hon. Felix Owete, Mrs Best Okoromadu, Hon. Dennis Odebala, and other great leaders will serve as Local Government Coordinators.

Foremost Industrialist, Chief Morrison Olori, Former Speaker, DTHA, Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya, former Education Commissioner, Prof. Pat Muoboghare, Dr Isaac Akpoveta, Chief Giwa Amu Theodora, Chief Clem Ofuani, Arch Joe Iroro, Rt Hon Tams Brisibe, Rt Hon Mercy Almona Ise, Pastor Champion Kpateghe will serve as members of the group’s Board of Trustees with Pastor John Greatman Chukwuka as Secretary. . .
