Dozens of people experienced health issues due to the heat during the second day of the Royal Ascot horse racing event in the UK, racecourse officials reported.
The gathering saw more than 41,000 attendees on Wednesday, with temperatures soaring to 29.7C (85F).
According to a spokesperson for Royal Ascot, one individual was transported to a hospital, while 42 others received assistance on site.
The spokesperson mentioned that complimentary water is available to all event participants.
A gentleman wearing a tailcoat, along with a group of women in formal attire and hats, are seen socializing around a table in the sun, with Union Jack decorations nearby.
They also noted that extra gazebos and umbrellas have been set up.
To keep the horses comfortable, misting fans and a mobile water dispenser with a capacity of 1,000 liters (264 gallons) are being utilized.

In total, it is anticipated that over 250,000 individuals will attend the five-day event concluding on Saturday.
Established by Queen Anne in 1711, this event is now recognized as an important social engagement alongside being a sporting occasion.
On Wednesday, King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Prince of Wales participated in a carriage procession at the event, although the Princess of Wales was absent.
Amber heat health warnings were issued throughout England starting at 09:00 BST on Thursday, with temperatures expected to surpass 30C for the first time this year.
The UK Health Security Agency indicated that “significant effects are likely” on health and social care services, particularly due to increased demand.
This comes after a stretch of elevated temperatures in the UK, following earlier yellow heat health warnings.
