Luka Dončić has taken the initiative to fund the restoration of a defaced mural that features Kobe and Gigi Bryant in the heart of Los Angeles.
The newcomer guard for the Los Angeles Lakers contributed $5,000 on Tuesday to meet the total goal of a GoFundMe campaign started by artist Louie Palsino.
He is focused on refurbishing the mural known as “Mambas Forever,” located at the intersection of 14th and Main streets.
“It has always meant a lot to support the community,” Dončić mentioned following a practice session at the Lakers’ training facility. “They have given me so much, so I want to return the favor.”
