As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial on racketeering and sex trafficking charges enters its fifteenth day in New York City, shocking new testimony from a former hotel security supervisor has brought fresh allegations of bribery, cover-up, and intoxicated violence. Eddy Garcia, who supervised security at the InterContinental hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, testified under oath that Diddy was visibly intoxicated while allegedly assaulting singer Cassie Ventura in an incident captured on hotel surveillance video.

Garcia revealed that the explosive footage, taken during the week of March 10, 2016, was brought to his attention after a report of a disturbance involving the music mogul. Upon reviewing the security feed, he recognized Diddy and later confirmed the woman involved was Cassie. Despite the severity of the incident, he said law enforcement was never contacted, because, according to him, Cassie never asked for it.

The court heard that Kristina Khorram, then chief of staff for Combs Enterprises, reached out to Garcia by phone shortly after the incident. She allegedly told him Diddy had been heavily intoxicated and had no recollection of what occurred, a claim that prompted immediate objection from Diddy’s legal team, which the judge sustained. Still, Garcia testified that Khorram attempted to retrieve the video, pushing for its removal and even showing up at the hotel lobby unannounced.

According to Garcia, Diddy himself eventually got on a call and admitted being drunk, asking whether the video could be obtained. Garcia recalled telling both Diddy and Khorram that any request for the footage would need to go through official hotel management or legal channels. Off the record, however, he warned that the footage portrayed Diddy in a highly negative light.

The most damning parts of Garcia’s testimony centered on allegations of a hush-money payment. Garcia claimed that Diddy offered compensation for the video and later connected him with Kristina Khorram again. He stated his supervisor, Bill Medrano, told him the footage would cost $50,000. Diddy allegedly responded by calling Garcia his “angel” and insisted on securing the deal immediately.

Garcia described how Medrano accessed the hotel’s secure server room and handed him a USB flash drive containing the controversial footage. Diddy then arranged a secretive meeting at a high-rise in West Los Angeles, where he demanded proof the footage was not stored elsewhere, particularly not in the cloud. Garcia testified that Medrano confirmed the video had been wiped from all digital storage.

During the meeting, Diddy FaceTimed Cassie to ensure she did not want the video released, citing her upcoming film project. Garcia claimed Diddy requested photo IDs from everyone involved, including LAPD officer Israel Florez and another hotel security officer, Henry Elias. Garcia said Diddy instructed them to sign non-disclosure agreements that contained a $1 million penalty clause. At the time, Garcia was earning just $10.50 per hour.

He further testified that Diddy counted out $100,000 in cash using a money-counting machine—$50,000 of which was for Garcia and Florez. The money, delivered in a paper bag, was allegedly witnessed by Khorram and a hotel guard. Garcia said he gave $50,000 to Medrano and $20,000 to Elias, and used some of the money to purchase a used vehicle.

Garcia also claimed that Diddy sent him a “Happy Easter” message following the transaction, but later ignored his attempts to reconnect via Instagram. He eventually saw the incriminating video surface years later on a news site, with Florez texting him a screenshot. Garcia stated he deleted all related messages to protect himself from potential legal fallout.

In a dramatic close to his testimony, Garcia admitted that when police later contacted him regarding the incident, he lied to them, choosing self-preservation over truth. His confession adds another disturbing layer to a trial that has already shaken the entertainment industry.
As the trial continues, Diddy’s legal team remains silent on Garcia’s testimony, but observers are calling the revelations one of the most damaging turns in the case so far. With more witnesses expected to testify in the coming days, the public and media are bracing for even deeper revelations in what is shaping up to be one of the most consequential celebrity trials in recent memory.
