In a wild and surreal scene that could only belong to the saga surrounding music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, fans took to the streets outside a Manhattan courthouse, slathering themselves in baby oil as they celebrated what they see as a near-victory for the embattled artist.

Videos from the courthouse vicinity have gone viral, showing ecstatic supporters rubbing baby oil on their bodies in a bizarre tribute to Diddy. One woman even exposed her chest while oiling herself, capturing the attention of passersby and social media alike. The spectacle quickly turned into a trending topic as crowds gathered, chanting Diddy’s name and recreating moments from his trial.

The use of baby oil has become a strange symbol in Diddy’s legal battle. During the two-month trial, the product was frequently mentioned in testimony and evidence, including reports that federal agents seized over 1,000 bottles of baby oil from Diddy’s properties during raids. Prosecutors highlighted its recurring presence as part of their argument to establish patterns of behavior tied to the charges.

Even Diddy’s legal team acknowledged the odd focus on the slippery substance. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, mocked the prosecution during closing arguments, calling out what he described as their obsession with baby oil, and questioning how such evidence connected to the more serious charges that Diddy ultimately beat.

Cassie Ventura, one of the central figures in the case, told jurors that baby oil played a role in some of her encounters with Diddy, including one where he asked her to apply it so she could look “glistening.” She also described a now-infamous night involving a hotel kiddie pool filled entirely with baby oil; an image that left jurors stunned and social media buzzing.

Photographic evidence presented during the trial showed multiple containers of baby oil found not only in Diddy’s homes but also in a hotel suite he occupied shortly before his September 2024 arrest. The prosecution leaned heavily on these visuals in an effort to illustrate the kind of environment Diddy allegedly fostered.

Despite being found guilty of transporting women for prostitution, Diddy was acquitted of more serious charges including racketeering and sex trafficking. The partial victory for the defense was enough to spark elation among Diddy’s fans, who wasted no time in turning the verdict into a street performance of loyalty and celebration.

“Federal agents might have spent months chasing baby oil across hotel rooms and mansions,” one observer quipped online, “but now they just need to walk outside the courthouse.”

The bizarre baby oil celebration has only added to the spectacle surrounding the trial, cementing this case as one of the most sensational and talked-about celebrity legal battles of the decade. With sentencing still ahead, all eyes remain on what’s next for Sean Combs but for now, his supporters are slick, shiny, and unapologetically loud.
