Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a political movement, Dennis Otuaro (Door 2 Door) 4 Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 has been launched in Warri, Delta State to garner support for the re – election of President Tinubu.
The group under the auspices of ex-agitators in phase 1 and 3 of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, said they have declared their total and unwavering support for President Tinubu even as Nigeria marks Democracy Day.
In a statement issued and signed by General Aroni Oputu, National President, Presidential Amnesty Programme Phase 1 and others, made available to our correspondent via email, the ex- agitators saluted the courage of all leaders who worked tirelessly and sacrificed their lives, time and resources to ensure the survival of Nigeria’s hard-fought democracy, which the nation is enjoying today.
“Despite the fact that there are still daunting challenges facing our nation today, we believe that with hope, dedication, perseverance and prayers, the yearnings, aspirations and expectations of all Nigerians will be met and that in no distant time, Nigeria will be great again,” the statement said.
The group gave special recognition to President Tinubu for the pivotal role he played in the turbulent era of military rule when he and his colleagues in NADECO fought the military to a standstill and finally succeeded in bringing democracy back to Nigeria in 1999.
“Indeed Mr. President, you are a democrat, a statesman and a national hero.
“Twenty-six years of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria has shown that Nigeria is on the right path, compared to other African countries like Burkina Faso, Chad, Niger Republic and Mali, where the military has since returned to power.
“It is a known fact that in these countries, the boys in khaki have cornered their countries constitutional powers and wealth to themselves.
“But, Nigeria is thriving democratically with President Bola Tinubu on the driver’s seat.
“There’s no gainsaying that under President Bola Tinubu’s watch, Nigeria has taken giant steps through policies targeted at the economy, education, health, infrastructure, power and other key sectors, towards making Nigeria a united, progressive, developed, egalitarian and virile nation as well as pride in the comity of African nations and globally.
“The Dennis Otuaro (Door 2 Door) 4 Bola Ahmed Tinubu (D2D4BAT) is a political movement which comprises people from all walks of life.
“This political movement cuts across all the local government areas, wards, communities and ethnic nationalities in the Niger Delta.
“Our patron, Dennis Otuaro, the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, is a political strategist and core loyalist of Mr. President and believes in the continuity of the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’.

“We are declaring our unflinching and total support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election as we gradually match towards 2027.
“Our support for Mr. President is borne out of the belief in his impactful leadership and giant strides in every sector since he was elected by the majority of Nigerians in 2023. And we are convinced that Nigerians will rally behind him again come 2027.
“This organization has thrown its total weight behind President Tinubu’s re-election because he embodies good governance culture, and respect for the rule of law and the Nigerian constitution.
“In the past two years of his administration, Mr. President has manoeuvred turbulent waters to enrich the democratic practice in Nigeria and expanded the frontiers of development across the length and breadth of our great country.
“For avoidance of doubt, Otuaro’s visionary, innovative and pragmatic leadership supported by President Tinubu’s administration has fostered lasting peace in our communities, creeks and on our waterways.
“The drastic reduction in criminal activities in our region such as pipeline vandalism, oil bunkering and theft, as well as piracy are the result of Otuaro’s deliberate effort as an agent of change and driver of President Tinubu’s policies and programmes.
“We are excited to say that Mr. President through his ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’, has not only strengthened the unity of Nigeria, but promoted peaceful co-existence, stability and development across the nation.
