The Delta State governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party for the 2023 general election Dr. Goodnews Agbi has bagged the BOLD ACHIEVER’S award from the Great Parliament club of Oleh in Isoko South local government area of Delta State.
He was honoured for not only flying the flag of the Isoko nation as a gubernatorial candidate from the Isoko ethnic nationality but also for his other numerous contributions towards the development of the Isoko Nation.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Agbi thanked the Great Parliament club of Oleh for honouring him with this prestigious award, noting that in politics if you don’t say here I am, nobody will come looking for you. You must decide to say I am here then people will look intently and say there is somebody there.
According to him, “I am in this race to deliver the dividends of democracy to the entire Deltans inclusive of the Isoko people. We can now rub shoulders with and get respect from other ethnic neighbors. We must change the narrative
“This time around if other ethnic flags are being hosted in Asaba, Isoko flag must also be there. In any sporting or political contest, you must participate before you can win, he stated.
He posited, “In this contest, we must prosecute it with a noble group like the Great Parliament club of Oleh, with your support, we are sure to intimidate our opponents. They will know Isoko is gathering momentum for my Guber aspiration.
He, therefore urged the great Parliament Club of Oleh to give him their maximum support and preach the gospel, noting that Isoko must have a united front come 2023 and that he will be an advocate of the Isoko people.

He also reiterated, “I am not afraid of any opponent but am sure Isoko will be accorded the respect it deserves.
Earlier on, the Chairman of the Great Parliament Club of Oleh Comrade Emu Urude, acknowledged the gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for attending their end-of-year ceremony.
He also used the event to enumerate challenges facing the club, noting that there is need for the club to start developing its permanent site along Oleh/Ozoro road.
He added the club will give its maximum support to the NNPP governorship candidate, noting that most of their members are graduates and are fit to get government jobs.
Dr. Goodnews Agbi was accompanied to the event by Hon Oyibo Clement Delta State House of Assembly candidate Isoko south constituency1, Dr. Daniel Uroghome Isoko North constituency Delta State House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Chris Godwin Chuwkudeme Delta State House of Assembly candidate Ukwuani constituency, Mr Emmanuel Itivie Isoko North local government chairman, Comrade Thomas Atowo, Director of Finance the Campaign organization, Chief Chris Okolie, Delta North Coordinator, Dr. Goodnews Agbi campaign organization and several others.
