Renowned businessman and Chairman of the Cubana Group, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has hailed Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, describing his leadership as God-fearing, people-focused and firmly driven by development. He declared that Delta State is in safe and capable hands under the current administration.
Obi Cubana made the remarks during a courtesy visit to Government House, Asaba, where he was accompanied by the Founder of Streams of Joy International, Pastor Jerry Eze. The visit coincided with Pastor Eze’s presence in the state to dedicate the Cubana Millennium City project to God, marking a symbolic step in the project’s development journey.
The visit highlights the growing collaboration between private investors and the Delta State Government, as the state continues to position itself as an emerging hub for real estate investment and urban expansion.
In a message shared on his verified Facebook page after the visit, Obi Cubana spoke glowingly of Governor Oborevwori’s leadership style, noting its strong moral foundation and clear focus on development. He wrote that when the righteous lead, the people prosper, adding that Delta State is fortunate to have a governor committed to growth and progress.
He further thanked the governor for his accessibility and open-door approach, describing it as a rare quality that encourages serious investors. According to him, the Cubana Group is ready to deliver projects that will transform the state’s landscape and attract further investment.
