The Delta State Government has empowered 30 vulnerable women living with HIV/AIDS with grants of N50, 000 each.

Commissioner for Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, Pat Ajudua, during the empowerment programme held in Asaba, reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to take care of the vulnerable in the state, particularly women.

Adjudua said the financial support is aimed at enhancing the beneficiaries’ economic independence and helping them boost their small-scale businesses.
