Davido DNA dispute has escalated with Anu Adeleke Ayo Labinjoh’s mother launching a scathing Instagram rebuttal against Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke (Davido), accusing him of tampering with test results and bullying her teenage daughter.
The controversy reignited after Davido took to X on January 16, 2026, dismissing claims of paternity with a blunt post: “After 5 DNA tests… she’s crazy. She and her mom should leave me alone and go find her father…” He insisted he barely knew Labinjoh, claiming their only contact was during the DNA test.
In a fiery response, Labinjoh rejected the “baby mama” and “bitch” labels, detailing the emotional toll on 11-year-old Anu, who has endured years of school bullying, fainted from distress, and required psychotherapy. “I’m not fighting for my daughter. My daughter is fighting for her identity,” she declared, slamming Davido’s language as “terrible” and unacceptable.
Labinjoh alleged Davido ignored her for years, mistakenly believing he “picked up a prostitute from GQ Club in Ibadan.” She clarified she was merely a waitress from a respectable family, whose late father, poisoned for his anti-corruption work, dedicated his life to Nigeria.

Challenging the DNA integrity, she claimed Davido’s father, Dr. Deji Adeleke, took them to a lab (not a hospital) in 2014, where Anu’s blood sample was secretly discarded, producing a “fake report.” She accused Davido’s lawyer of misleading the public about only two tests and vowed to seek an independent DNA test via the US State Department.
“I am NOT Davido’s baby mama or a bitch. David Adeleke thought he picked up a prostitute… My daughter is trending on X because her dad needed to call me a bitch, even though he’s never met me,” Labinjoh wrote in her full statement, which has garnered millions of views and sparked fierce online debates.
The saga, blending celebrity scandal, paternity intrigue, and allegations of manipulation, has dominated Nigerian social media, with #DavidoDNA, #AnuAdeleke, and #JusticeForAnu trending nationwide. As fans divide into camps, Labinjoh’s plea for truth amplifies calls for transparency in high-profile paternity battles.
