In a related development, Dangote Petroleum Refinery, valued at $20 billion, is on track to become the 6th largest refinery in the world.
Located in Lekki, Lagos, the refinery is being upgraded from 650,000 barrels per day to 700,000 barrels per day by the end of 2025. Key refining units, including the Residual Fluid Catalytic Cracker (RFCC), are nearing completion.
