The Dangote Group has issued a public alert warning job seekers to beware of a growing wave of employment scams involving individuals impersonating its Human Resources (HR) staff. According to the company, fraudsters have been contacting unsuspecting candidates via LinkedIn and other online platforms, requesting payment for job applications or recruitment processing.
In a statement signed by the Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Dangote Industries Limited emphasized that it does not request, solicit, or accept any form of payment from job applicants at any stage of its recruitment process. The company stressed that all genuine job openings are only advertised through its official communication channels, including its careers portal at https://careers.dangote.com.
