Kaffy, a well-known dancer whose full name is Kafayat Shafau, has shared her thoughts on the difficulties of dating as a single mother.
During her appearance on the podcast “The Honest Bunch,” she opened up about her experiences after her divorce from her ex-husband, Joseph Ameh.
Kaffy recounted a moment when a man told her he could not date her because she had two children.
She expressed her frustration with this mindset, saying “just because I’m a single mother doesn’t mean I’m not a good partner.
“A divorced woman can be a better choice if she has worked on herself. What assurance is there that two single people today won’t end up divorced in the future?

“People shouldn’t feel they need to marry someone without a past. After all, many marriages, over 70 percent, don’t last, and you could easily be part of that statistic.”
She also discussed the nature of love, emphasizing a point about emotions.
“Did you know that those fluttery feelings we sometimes get in our stomach can actually be a response to past trauma?
“True love, on the other hand, should feel peaceful and safe, not make you anxious or unsettled.”
