Actor Daddy Billy has shared his final moments with his colleague, Odira Nwobu, who tragically passed away in South Africa on Monday, November 24.
In a video posted on social media, Billy expressed his sorrow, stating, “it’s unfortunate that he fought for his life. Just three days prior, Odira experienced a severe health scare with an extremely rapid heartbeat.
“He was taken to a pharmacy where his blood pressure was measured at around 171, shocking the pharmacist, who said he was fortunate to have sought help in time; otherwise, he could have suffered a stroke or worse.
According to him, the pharmacist provided him with medication, and Odira initially stabilized.
However, on Sunday, he went out but failed to take his blood pressure medication.
“Later that evening, he began to feel weak. When we went for a walk, he mentioned he was tired and couldn’t walk for long, but no one realized the seriousness of his condition. It slipped everyone’s mind to check on his medication.

“At one point, he expressed a desire to go home. We continued to a club where he seemed to have fun and even shared videos. After saying goodbye and returning to his apartment, we received another call informing us that Odira’s heart was racing again, and shortly after, he was gone,” he recounted.
Billy mentioned that an autopsy has been conducted, and they are now awaiting the results.
