Stephen Curry and Buddy Hield netted 55 points, propelling the Warriors to victory over the Rockets in the decisive match.
The Lakers athlete Curry noted that the Golden State Warriors needed to “dig deep” to secure a 103-89 win in the final game of their Western Conference first-round playoff series.
The Warriors initially had a 3-1 edge in the best-of-seven series before the Rockets equalized at 3-3, leading to the last clash in Houston.
Curry scored 14 of his total points in the fourth quarter, while his teammate Buddy Hield achieved a remarkable performance with nine three-pointers, concluding the game with a high of 33 points that helped set the stage for a Western Conference semifinal against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
When asked about what was necessary to clinch the victory, Curry remarked, “it took a lot of resilience and everyone stepping up. There’s been much discussion about our team’s execution and energy in the past two games.
