Judge Arun Subramanian has scheduled Sean Diddy Combs’ sentencing for October 3 due to his conviction related to prostitution from his federal criminal trial.
The judge in charge of Mogul’s case officially scheduled thesame date he suggested last week after Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transporting male prostitutes for sexual purposes.
Diddy will remain in custody until his sentencing, and by then, he will have been incarcerated for over a year, which will count towards his sentence.

The music mogul faces a maximum penalty of 20 years—10 years for each count—though it is unlikely he will receive the maximum sentence.
There is a disagreement between Diddy’s defense team and prosecutors regarding sentencing guidelines; Diddy’s lawyers argue that the guidelines begin at 21 months, while prosecutors contend they start at 51 months.
