Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig. Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, has announced that from March 2025, corps members will begin receiving the new monthly allowance of N77,000.
He made this known during an interactive session held at the NYSC Zonal Office in Garki, Abuja.
The NYSC boss reaffirmed the commitment of both the federal government and the NYSC to the well-being of corps members, emphasizing that their welfare is a top priority.
Brig. Gen. Nafiu commended the dedication and selfless service of the corps members, encouraging them to remain calm, disciplined, and committed in their duties.

“From March, you will start receiving N77,000 as your month allowance. NYSC keeps accurate records, and I assure you the payments will be made promptly,” he assured.
Furthermore, he highlighted the NYSC’s dedication to fostering patriotism, discipline, leadership, and teamwork among its members.
