The people of Enhwe Community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State has petitioned the community Monarch Son Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha over alleged mismanagement of the Tantita Security Surveillance slots and funds.

In a petitioned signed by Comrade Uzuazor Simon who is also the Financial Secretary of Isoko National Youth Assembly on behalf of the people of Enhwe read that; “We hereby pass vote of no confidence on the leadership approach of Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha the coordinator of the Tantita Security Management Surveillance of Enhwe community, his actions has failed to reflect fairness and the overall interest of the community.

According to him, “The Enhwe people firmly condemn in totality the alleged diversion of Tantita Security Management Surveillance slots and funds meant for the community, the opportunities designed for the youths of the community, has been exploited for personal gain by Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha. The indigenous people of Enhwe have been unjustly deprived while community resources are disproportionately controlled and utilized for self-serving purposes”.

He frowned at the, “deliberate expulsion and marginalization of qualified and credible indigenes of Enhwe’s in matters relating to decision making, such actions threaten communal harmony and could lead to avoidable confrontations if left unchecked”

He lamented that, “there exists a clear lack of transparency, accountability and credible leadership by Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha where decisions are taken without proper consultation of the community stakeholders”.

He affirmed that the Enhwe Community has always stood for peace, unity and respect but to remain silent in the face of injustice contradicts our values and responsibility to future generations.

“It is on this basis we openly condemn the alleged actions of Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha who has used his political influence to allocate all Tantita Security Management Surveillance slots to himself and his chosen individuals. Those who are selectively considered are treated unfairly, receiving only minimal benefits while he retains the majority share. The treatment reduces our people to modern day slavery within their own land which contradicts the principles upon which Tantita Security Management Surveillance is built”.

He therefore demands a comprehensive review and audit of the Tantita Security Surveillance slots allocation process as it concerns Enhwe community with immediate implementation of transparent checks and balances to ensure equity and fairness, inclusive participation of the community stakeholders in decision making and elimination of unilateral control of opportunities by any single individual whose actions do not serve the community.

He urged the Management of Tantita Security Surveillance, Security Agency, and the Isoko Local Government Chairman to act swiftly to prevent future conflict or breakdown of peace within the kingdom.
