The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has assured of conducting a recruitment process that is transparent and based on merit, aligning with the instructions from Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.
In a statement released to the media, the commission’s Permanent Secretary, Abubakar Maiha, guaranteed the public and potential applicants an equitable environment during the recruitment process.
“We are devoted to facilitating a just and trustworthy process for each applicant. This initiative is guided by the explicit mandate of Governor Fintiri, to promote transparency and fairness,” remarked Maiha.
The commission revealed that more than 20,000 applications were submitted within the initial 24-hour period following the recruitment portal’s launch, signifying a strong interest in the 4,000 job openings across various sectors.

“The influx of applications led us to enhance our systems to avert issues and manage the increased user activity,” Maiha noted.
The submission window will remain open for two weeks, the commission added.
It stated that individuals who are successful will be chosen for interviews and additional paperwork in the weeks to come.
The commission therefore, encouraged potential applicants to send in their applications without delay and steer clear of a last-minute scramble.
