Coalition group finally submitted new political party 'All Democratic Alliance' (ADA) to INEC for registration
The National Coalition Group (NNCG) has formally submitted a request to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the registration of a new political party called the All Democratic Alliance (ADA).

The application letter, dated June 19, 2025, was acknowledged by INEC on June 20, 2025. A copy of the letter was signed by Chief Akin A. Rickets, the Protem National Chairman of the association.

In a press statement, released on Thursday, Chief Akin A. Rickets announced the submission. He stated that the new political party has respectfully requested the registration of the All Democratic Alliance (ADA) with INEC.

This registration follows the decision made by the Nigerian National Coalition Group to support the association’s full registration, as mentioned in the statement.

The party is named All Democratic Alliance, with ADA as its acronym and “Justice for All” as its slogan.

According to the release, the National Secretariat of the party is identified as Abdullahi Musa Elayo, as noted at the bottom of the application letterhead.

“We have also included our logo, which details the symbolism of our party colors and their arrangement, along with the corn (maize).

“We have further attached our manifesto, which outlines our party ideology, and our constitution, which provides the legal framework defining our identity, structure, and organization, regulating our activities in accordance with Section 40 and 222 of the Constitution, Section 75 of the Electoral Act (2022), and global democratic principles.

“Enclosed are the following documents: our party flag featuring our name, acronym, and slogan, manifesto, constitution, and minutes of our meetings.

“We look forward to the commission’s response regarding the next steps toward achieving our goals and extend our highest respect.” The statement concluded.
