Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has called on Nigerians to embrace mutual respect and peaceful coexistence as a means to foster unity and progress in the country.
In a goodwill message for the 2024 Christmas celebration, he emphasized the importance of living harmoniously, regardless of political, cultural, or religious differences.
Highlighting the teachings of Jesus Christ, Mohammed reminded citizens of the values of peace, honesty, love, and reverence for God, encouraging all to reflect on their deeds over the past year while praying for better times ahead.

He reassured residents of his commitment to ensuring their safety and noted the collaboration between the state government and security agencies to enhance security measures.
In addition to addressing security concerns, the governor mentioned the government’s efforts to provide logistical support to these agencies and to implement palliative programs aimed at alleviating the economic challenges faced by the people.
He urged the residents to remain patient, reiterating that his administration is dedicated to alleviating the hardships caused by the current economic conditions in the country.
