China has called on the United States to release Venezuela’s President, Nicolás Maduro, following his arrest by American forces.
Chinese authorities said the detention of Maduro violates international law and threatens the sovereignty of Venezuela. They warned that such actions could worsen global tensions and destabilise international relations.
