Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charley Boy or Area Fada, has shared a personal reflection on how his experiences as a parent are now being mirrored back to him by his own children.
The entertainer admitted that in his past, he caused his parents a great deal of worry and distress, to the point of disowning them at one stage.
Now, he observes that his children are giving him a similar struggle, demonstrating their displeasure in their own way.

He expressed this sentiment by writing: “This life, eh! I remember the trouble I caused my parents to the extent that I disowned them. I have since become what some might call an ‘aje butter,’ only to turn into an ‘aje pako.’
“All my children have left me and are now showing me ‘pepper,’ or in other words, giving me a hard time.
“I guess you can say, what goes around comes around,” highlighting the cycle of actions and repercussions across generations.”
