CDCFIB reveals centres for nationwide physical verification exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) announced on Monday the list of approved physical verification centers for the 2025 recruitment process.

This announcement follows the completion of last month’s computer-based tests.

The board stated that the list of candidates selected for physical screening and document verification will be released between Monday, December 1, and Wednesday, December 3.

The board emphasized that the physical verification phase is crucial to the recruitment process, as it involves a thorough verification of candidates’ identities, documents, and physical fitness before they advance to the final selection stage.

On Monday, the board confirmed that it had approved centers in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

These verification centers will serve candidates shortlisted for the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Some of the approved verification centers by state are:

Adamawa: NIS State Command, Yola.

Akwa Ibom: NCoS State Command, Plot 11, Block C, Attan Offot, Uyo.

Anambra: NCoS State Command, Federal Secretariat Complex, Awka.

Bauchi: NCoS Zonal Office, Bauchi.

Bayelsa: NCoS State Command, Capt.

Amangala Street, Ovom, Yenagoa.

Benue: NIS State Command, Makurdi.

Kaduna: Two approved centers: Correctional Service Staff College, Barnawa and Correctional Training School, Independence Way.

Kano: Two approved centers: NCoS State Command, No. 1 Mission Road, Bompai, Nasarawa.

Katsina: NCoS State Command, Room 41, Dandagoro, Near Mega Filling Station, Federal Secretariat.

Kebbi: Correctional Training College, Birnin Kebbi.

Kogi: NIS State Command, Lokojal

Kwara: NCoS State Command, Behind Old Herald Newspapers office, Flower Garden Area, Ilorin.

Lagos: Correctional Training College, Kirikiri, Apapa; NIS zonal headquarters, Old Secretariat Road, GRA, Ikeja; Federal Fire Service Training School, Western Avenue, and Ojuelegba.

Nasarawa: NIS State Command, Nasarawa.
