Social media personality Carter Efe has publicly apologised to Afrobeats star Wizkid and his loyal fanbase, popularly known as Wizkid FC, following recent online tensions.
The apology comes on the heels of the backlash over comments made by Efe about the singer, which angered many fans and sparked heated reactions across social media platforms.
In a video that quickly gained traction online, the comedian is seen kneeling as he makes an emotional appeal for forgiveness.
He directly addressed both Wizkid and his supporters, promising not to make disrespectful remarks about the artist again.

In the video, he said: “Please, please, please, I beg you in the name of God, I am pleading with Wizkid and Wizkid FC to forgive me.
“I promise I will never insult Wizkid again. Please forgive me; if I insult Wizkid again, may I die young. I swear to God, please forgive me.”
The clip rapidly circulated across social media, drawing mixed reactions.
While some fans viewed the apology as sincere, others criticised the influencer over the initial remarks that triggered the controversy.
