Afrobeats artist Burna Boy has contributed N140 million to the non-governmental organization led by the controversial social media figure VeryDarkMan (VDM), making him the largest individual donor to the initiative to date.
VeryDarkMan announced the donation online, providing proof of the transaction that showed the funds deposited into his NGO’s account.
He mentioned that the money was transferred through Burna Boy’s brand, Spaceship Collective.

With this N140 million donation, Burna Boy has overtaken music executive Don Jazzy, who had previously donated N100 million to the same NGO.
This move has established Burna Boy as the foremost individual supporter of the cause.
VeryDarkMan noted that the funds would be utilized for humanitarian efforts, including covering fines for inmates who cannot afford to secure their release and paying medical bills for Nigerians in need.
He stressed that the money would be strictly allocated to social intervention projects.
