Grammy-winning Nigerian music star Burna Boy has set a new record after delivering the highest-grossing single concert by an African artist.
According to data released by Touring Data, the singer’s “No Sign of Weakness” tour has become the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in the history of the Oceania region.
The platform disclosed on X that the tour generated about $3.1 million in revenue from nearly 31,000 tickets sold across four performances in the region.
The milestone was reached during the Sydney leg of the tour at Qudos Bank Arena, where Burna Boy earned approximately $1.117 million from a single concert performance.

The “No Sign of Weakness” tour spans 20 shows across three continents, including North America, Europe and Oceania, highlighting the Nigerian singer’s growing global reach and popularity.
During the Oceania segment of the tour, Burna Boy staged four performances in Australia, selling around 30,946 tickets and generating a combined $3.1 million in revenue.
The record further underscores the rising international influence of African music and the expanding global audience for Afrobeats. Burna Boy, widely known for hit songs such as On the Low, continues to rank among the continent’s most successful touring artists, filling major arenas across the world.
