Music superstar Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu also known as Burna Boy has purchased Africa’s first 2025 Lamborghini Revuelto hybrid supercar, reportedly costing over N1.5 billion (approximately $600,000, plus import fees).
The latest addition to his lavish car collection, which already includes a McLaren Senna and a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, reinforces his status as one of Africa’s wealthiest artists.
The purchase, made in Lagos, has sparked excitement on social media and comparisons with rival artist Davido.
Meanwhile, some critics are questioning the extravagance of such a purchase amid ongoing economic challenges.
@DamiOgunleye commented: “That car could fund the construction of 50 local hospitals in rural Nigeria, powered by solar energy. It’s important to give back when one is blessed. I’m not judging, just saying. More blessings, bro.”

@themainman112 stated: “I care more about whether he builds roads, hospitals, or schools than what kind of car he drives.
“While he deserves to enjoy the fruits of his labor, I believe our public figures should be celebrated for their contributions rather than their luxury items. This reflects a weak value system; we need selfless leaders in Africa.”
@Harrywillson011 replied:”He might be making an investment by buying these cars. We shouldn’t be quick to assign blame; he’s likely working with a financial advisor and has chosen to invest in this way.”
@PaulemmanuelNg added: “Burna Boy is not the government. If the government stepped up its efforts, then others would likely follow suit. Remember that Burna Boy also does a lot of charitable work. He deserves to enjoy the money he has earned through hard work.”
