Former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate, Peter Obi has paid a visit to former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, at his residence in Abuja.
The visit on Tuesday comes in the wake of Malami’s recent encounters with the country’s anti-corruption and security agencies.
According to social media posts, Obi’s visit was aimed at expressing personal support and solidarity following Malami’s questioning and detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Department of State Services (DSS).
Malami was recently granted bail by the Federal High Court, Abuja.

The visit shared through ADC’s social media handles, described the meeting between Obi and Malami as cordial and reflective.
Obi reportedly emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law, due process, and fairness, regardless of political affiliations or past offices held.
