The Executive Assistant on Communication to the Governor of Delta State, Mr. Fred Latimore has been sacked.
This was conveyed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State government, Mr. Patrick Ukah.
The letter dated December 29th, 2021, read in part. “I write to convey to you the displeasure of His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, over your conduct with respect to the performance of your duties wherein there has been manifest recklessness and insubordination. As this trend can no longer be tolerated, I regret to inform you that your services as Executive Assistance, Communication, is no longer required and your appointment is hereby terminated”
The letter also requested Latimore to hand over all government properties in his possession to the permanent secretary, government house.
