Gunmen have reportedly abducted three and injured one along Ajaokuta road in Kogi State.
The victims are Barr Abba Aduojo of Pearls Attorneys at Utako in Abuja, Mr Joe Abba who is a brother of the Barrister, and his wife, Mrs Esther Abba.
The Trumpet gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday while the victims were on a return trip from their hometown in Kogi to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Trumpet Gathered
According to a source close to one of the victims, the gunmen shot the wife of Barr Abba Aduojo and left her on the scene of the incident in a pull of blood while whisking away her husband, his brother, and wife to an unknown destination.

“Barrister’s wife was shot at the point of kidnap and left on the scene. She is presently receiving treatment at Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Lokoja, Kogi State,” he told The Trumpet.
It was also gathered that one Pius Abba, who is a brother of the victims, was able to escape with his family in his car. However, the vehicle was said to have been badly damaged.
“Pius Abba was able to escape with his own family, and his car was badly damaged as a result of the gunshots fired at him,” the source said.
The kidnappers were yet to contact family members for ransom as at press time.
When contacted for confirmation of the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Kogi State Command, SP William Aya, did not respond to calls put across to him.
