Nigerian relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis, revealing that the stage of the illness remains unclear.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session with media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, also known as Daddy Freeze, she said she was diagnosed at a hospital in Nigeria but has yet to receive a definitive staging of the condition.
According to her, she discovered a lump in July last year and was informed in early January that it was cancerous.
“I found a lump in July of last year, and in early January I was told it was cancerous. I am preparing for a mastectomy, which will help determine how advanced it is. I am not ready to release my medical report yet, but I will share it soon,” she said.
Addressing concerns about the cost of treatment, Blessing explained that she does not have a precise estimate, noting that her earlier appeal for financial assistance was driven by uncertainty about the full scope of care required, including possible surgery and follow-up treatment.
Responding to criticism during the session, she reacted to questions raised by a legal practitioner over her decision to seek donations without providing detailed medical documentation.

“I did not state a specific amount when I asked for help. I was trying to prepare because I did not know what to expect, although I may have exaggerated at some point,” she added.
Her latest remarks come days after a viral video in which she claimed to be battling stage 4 cancer, a statement that has since sparked widespread debate and scrutiny online.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has publicly challenged Blessing’s claims, alleging that the situation may have been misrepresented.
The development continues to generate mixed reactions across social media, with calls for greater transparency and clarity regarding her health status.
