Former Vice-President of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Abioye, has launched his new church, the Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly (called Conquerors Global Assembly).
This event took place during a Sunday service and marks a new chapter for him after retiring from his previous role in the Living Faith Church, led by Bishop David Oyedepo.
The first morning service of ‘The Hour of Revival’ was held in Abuja, where Bishop Abioye shared the new church’s name and logo with his congregation.
The congregation responded with cheers and applause, showcasing their excitement about this new beginning.

In a prior announcement, Bishop Abioye had mentioned that the church would now offer a morning service in addition to its regular evening gatherings.
This change reflects his desire to reach more people and engage more effectively with the church community.
Bishop Abioye, along with his colleague, Bishop Thomas Aremu, stepped down from their roles at Winners Chapel in October 2024.
This decision came as part of a new church policy that sets a retirement age of 55 for church leaders.
At the time of their retirement, Bishop Abioye was 63 and Bishop Aremu was 67, marking an important transition in their long careers in service.
