Oviri Kelvin Oghenekioja, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Distinguished Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, has called on the good people of Delta South Senatorial District to be the vessel through which set goals are achieved by the effective representation of our scintillating representative at the National Assembly.
The SSA made the call over the weekend to intimate constituents they have key roles to play by disseminating information from the senatorial office to their various wards and vice versa.
He said certain federal government ministries, agencies and parastatals may decide to embark on recruitment exercises, training and empowerment programs without prior knowledge of the office but the supposedly targeted beneficiaries would be aware.
According to him, one of the primary concern of the office is to ensure that people of the district, who are qualified, are fairly treated and accommodated by the quota system and urged them to always reach out to the office through the designated channel when the need arise.

Oviri advised constituents to dispel the notion that the senatorial office is always aware of programmes organised by federal government institutions and establishments. He added that there are numerous federal ministries, agencies domiciled in all parts of the country including security architectural institutions, so it will be unwise for anyone to harbour such notion.
The SSA underscored the importance of a synergy between the people and the senatorial office and appealed that constituents should not hesitate to reach out to him regarding the aforementioned issues.
“We are at the service of the people so they should not hesitate to reach out to the office at any time through my designated line and WhatsApp if any of the agencies carry out these exercises,” Oviri said, expressing Distinguished Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas’ unwaivering commitment to the district’s development through effective legislation and oversight.
