Big Brother Naija Reality TV star Chinwe Okafor has accused her former boyfriend, Zion Edet, of disappearing from her life after collecting her money.

She said this during the 2024 housemates’ dramatic reunion show that started on June 23, 2025, with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

During the show, Chinwe didn’t hold back as she revealed that even though Zion claimed he was done with their relationship, he kept coming back to her for cash.

“Zion came back, asked me for money, and I gave it to him. Just three days later, he ghosted me,” she shared.

She expressed her frustration, saying, “I wasn’t getting anything from this relationship. I always took him out, never the other way around.”

When Ebuka pressed Zion about his actions, he admitted he should have communicated better, but emphasised, “I still have feelings for Chinwe. No lies.”

The tension grew as other housemates chimed in, teasing that they often heard Chinwe calling Zion “baby,” suggesting that their romance might not be over after all.

Chinwe confirmed that Zion had spent the night before the reunion at her place, saying, “he was in my room telling me he loved me. He woke up in my room this morning.”

This revelation surprised everyone present.

Ebuka highlighted the inconsistency in their statements, pointing out that “if you say you’re done, why did you let him stay in your room?”

Chinwe attempted to downplay it as a final goodbye, but the back-and-forth confirmed what many fans had already suspected: they still had feelings for each other despite what they claimed.

The reunion wrapped up with Ebuka shaking his head and wishing them good luck.

Social media erupted after the episode aired, with fans divided between supporting Chinwe’s honesty and criticizing Zion’s behaviour.

In response, Zion took to Instagram to share his side on Tuesday, expressing frustration about being portrayed unfairly, saying, “I usually don’t do this, but I need to set the record straight.

“I had just come back from studying abroad and was still trying to find my way. I was honest about wanting to build my own brand and not rely on my family.

“You respected that, or at least I thought you did. Now I feel like you’ve shamed me every chance you get.”

Zion further explained that while he supported Chinwe, he never judged her choices or the way she made money.

He stressed that their values were different and expressed hurt over how he felt disrespected in the relationship.

He even mentioned a specific incident on his birthday where he had hoped for support from her that he now regretted asking for.

As the drama unfolds, fans remain captivated, unsure of what to make of the complex relationship between Chinwe and Zion.
