Bayern Munich triumphed over Boca Juniors with a score of 2-1, securing their place in the knockout stage of the FIFA Club World Cup.
In a match held in Miami Gardens, Michael Olise’s goal in the 84th minute sealed the victory for Bayern, the reigning champions of Germany.
After a scramble in the box, Harry Kane passed the ball back to Olise, who fired a powerful shot into the bottom left corner.
Boca Juniors equalized in the 66th minute with a goal from Miguel Merentiel, following an earlier goal from Kane that had given Bayern the lead in the first half.
Bayern, with a record of two wins and no losses, faced a tougher challenge compared to their Group C opener, where they achieved a 10-0 victory against semi-professional Auckland City.

Boca Juniors still have a chance to progress, but they must secure a significant win against Auckland City on Tuesday in Nashville and hope that Benfica loses to Bayern the same day in Charlotte.
For Boca’s equalizer, Alan Velasco sent a pass from midfield that allowed Merentiel to chase it down.
He managed to outpace Bayern defender Jonathan Tah, rounded Josip Stanisic, and then scored with a right-footed shot from 12 yards over goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Bayern also showcased a remarkable goal when Konrad Laimer delivered a pass into the Boca penalty area.
Kingsley Coman redirected the ball to Kane, who, despite a heavy touch, managed to recover and fired a left-footed shot from 12 yards into the net.
