The paramount ruler of Ogboinbiri Community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Okosughe Eseimokumo, Ogboin XII has described Governor.Douye Diri as a leader with an infinitive and creative mind for human capital and infrastructural development.
The monarch stated this while exchanging views with journalists in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital at the weekend.
He commended Gov. Diri on his landmark achievements, particularly in the areas of infrastructural development, building of new schools as well as the renovation of existing ones, prompt payment of salaries and gratuities to civil servants, security, roads construction across communities in the three senatorial districts of the state and the running of an all-inclusive governance system in the state.
The monarch said when completed, the roads in the senatorial zones will attract critical investors and reduce the current rural -urban migration, crime, inter and intra-communal crisis and pave the way for unhindered development..

He commended the cordial relationship between the governor and his deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo and the governor’s award of the Oporoma -Ondewari Road, the Angiama -Eniwari Road, stating that Bayelsa State had never had it this good since its creation in 1996.
Eseimokumo called on the people of the state, particularly Ogboinbiri people to rally round the Diri administration to attract more democratic dividends to Bayelsa State.
He appealed to the governor to consider and award a contract for the construction of the Amassoma -Ebeni-Ogboinbiri Road, where no bridge is required except the Isampou canal which will require a culvert that is less than 30 meters.
