The Senior Special Assistant Forum to Bayelsa State government have officially resigned their membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The decision was taken during an expanded meeting held at Golden Tulip Conference Hall Yenagoa.

The Chairman of SSA’s Forum, Tarilayefa Igolukumo, stated that the decision aligns with Governor Douye Diri’s vision to reposition Bayelsa State for greater prosperity, stability, inclusive governance and a better Bayelsa State.

At the meeting, a motion of vote-of-confidence was passed unanimously, reaffirming their unwavering loyalty and support to Gov. Diri’s administration and future political direction he may take in the interest of Bayelsa and its people
