Sadly however, the judges penalized the Bayelsa team christened Team Voltron with fifteen points deduction for violating some rules, bringing their school to the third position.

Executive Secretary of EDTF, Dr Alice Atuwo while reacting to the result commended the State representatives at the competition and particularly appreciated Team Voltron for bringing honour to the State in their maiden national competition.

Atuwo said the feat justifies the intervention of the EDTF in coding and robotics training for students in the State and urged them to put in more effort for further opportunities.

At the end of the competition, Future innovators clinched second position while Team Elite emerged winners with thirty-eight points and would be representing Nigeria in the international coding and robotics challenge in the Netherlands.

Team Voltron thanked the State government and the EDTF for sponsoring them to the competition.
